Several of our OEM users had difficulties with the installer after it was changed. It was great to see everyone helping each other out. Shout out to @stephan.kaiser for sharing and starting this discussion!

It makes for an interesting effect but it also has “real” use cases, mainly in visualizing the content of a model in quantity take-off scenarios, analyzing the content of a model or to temporarily “pull out” relevant parts of an assembly or building model for further inspection. The current implementation bases the posit…

An excellent post by @guido, showing off a class used to dissolve a model. If you’re using HOOPS Communicator, you should check it out if you haven’t already.

> Hello everyone, we have just released a new Project in our Innovation Labs called the Kinematics Toolkit. It’s a set of classes for HOOPS Communicator to easily add kinematics-based animations to CAD Models. The complete source code for this project is available on GitHub and it even comes with its own (still experimental) editor environment. Please check it out in the labs here: [https://labs.techsoft3d.com/project/kinematics-toolkit/](https://labs.techsoft3d.com/project/kinematics-toolkit/) [ktt] [ktt] [ktt] [ktt]

Another helpful post by @guido for those using HOOPS Communicator that allows you to add kinematics-based animations to CAD models easily.

[[resize redline] ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n7XXroAmkY) Approach If you want to enhance or change the behaviors of a built-in operator in HOOPS Web Viewer, there are two ways: Create your own operator Extend a pre-existing built-in operator In either case, referring to the source code of the target operator will be the first step. You will find the source c…

This one was a helpful HOOPS Communicator post by @Toshi-TS3D. He shared how to customize a built-in operator in Communicator.

> So you’re developing software, and you decided to download the HOOPS Web or Native Platform trial and evaluate our SDKs. Now what? Let’s go over some ways you can make the most of your evaluation time and set yourself up for success. 1) Define an evaluation plan Being successful with your HOOPS product evaluation is a lot like successfully writing a good research paper. You will want to create an outline, write a draft, or in our case, create a proof of concept and then iterate until you have…

Last but not least, this one is for our self-evaluators, where we discuss ways to get the most out of your self-evaluation.
