# Gathering Child File References in AutoCAD / Inventor

Hi, I am looking to work more with HOOPS Exchange, however I would like to know what metadata is able to be extracted from AutoCAD and Inventor files. Using the C# devkit, is there any way to extract file reference data, such as a child file? If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be helpful, as I could not find what I was looking for in the documentation. Thanks for your time!
