# How-To: Enable PMI Automatic Orientation like HOOPS Demo Viewer by API

When importing a model with PMI Automatic Orientation in HOOPS Demo Viewer, it will flip pmi when rotating so that text / symbols remain readable.

With HOOPS Visualize HPS API, you can set by [ImportOptionsKit::SetPMIFlipping](https://docs.techsoft3d.com/hps/latest/api_ref/cpp/class_h_p_s_1_1_exchange.html#_CPPv4N3HPS8Exchange16ImportOptionsKit14SetPMIFlippingEb).

PMI Automatic Orientation option is not available for JT and 3DXML file formats due to limitations.
