# Updates to Image Server Project

We have recently made a few improvements to the Image Server. In particular image generation performance has been improved. It is also now possible to switch on hardware acceleration which dramatically reduces image generation times for larger models and when generating images with very high resolutions.

In addition, the [Minimal Bounding](https://forum.techsoft3d.com/t/minimal-bounding-calculation-in-hoops-communicator/1615) library is now available in the image generation callback which provides functions for calculating a more precise fitWorld() than the webviewer provides by default.
