I’m Dave Filippi. My company is FabCAD, Inc. which started out as a metal fabricating business. We started using AutoCAD in 1987 to help us design ornamental gates railings and fences. Over the years we developed inhouse tools to speed up our drawing. Other firms in the same industry saw some of our work and asked if they could purchase it. “Why re-invent the wheel” so I started a sofware company . We were a VAR for many years and adopted OEM in 2007. We live in a 2-D world mainly because most of our new customers large and small are still in the pencil and paper age. This forum has been a great help to me especially with this latest release which is see has been a challenge to many of you.

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself! I’m Gurcharan, and I’m excited to be a part of the TechSoft 3D Community Forum. I’m interested in 3D technology, e.g., 3D printing, 3D modeling, simulation, and aec industry technology update.

My Name is Aleistar Markoczy and I work as Software developer at the company Lignocam SA in Switzerland. Our Product is a CAM software called Lignocam and I am mainly working on the graphic representation of the 3D models in our software as well as the simulation of the CNC machining strategies which uses Hoops Visualize as 3D engine. My education is Bsc in information technology with a strong focus on 3D graphics, Computer Vision and artificial intelligence.
While I am not very experienced with hoops visualize yet, I already have a good understanding of 3D engines in general from my education as I’ve worked on the low-level with OpenGL and on the high-level with 3D game engines like Unity and Godot before. I’ve been working in software development for 7+ years and 2 years in 3D software development.

I am Hubert Mutschler, developer at AKG Software, Germany. Our Company is developping software for transport infrastructure planning. One of our products that is on the market as plugin for the AutoCad product family, is to be distributed as an AutoCAD OEM application as well. I’m the person to pack it all together.
