We are generating a png by passing in the orientation, using the ViewOrientation enums. We also use the same ViewOrientation enums for the viewer and our png thumbnail is in a different orientation then the viewer. Any reason why these would not be consistent?
I’ve been in touch with others on your team about this topic. I suspect your question is the same as what was raised with me via email. Through the email interchange, we’ve determined that the “standard” camera orientations used when generating thumbnail images via the converter binary is producing images that don’t align with the 3D view when the camera is set accordingly.
As a result, I’ve open a support ticket on behalf of your team with all the required information for us to resolve this.
