Why does PMI cross highlighting not work in 3DPDF?

Question : I have created the PMI crosshighlight with m_bActivatePMICrossHighlight =true, but it still doesn’t work as expected in 3DPDF.

Answer :

  1. Please make sure the “Preferred Renderer” is set to “DirectX”

  • When protected mode is enabled, it disables JavaScript. Therefore, it is an expected result that the associated face is not highlighted.
  • Attached link for explanation: All PDF processing such as PDF and image parsing, JavaScript execution, and 3D rendering happens in the sandbox and are subject to its limits; for example, processes cannot access other processes.
