I’m encountering an issue converting a Creo assembly to SCS format using HOOPS Visualize Web 2026.1.
Issue:
After conversion, one part from the assembly is missing in the resulting SCS file.
However, the exact same Creo assembly converts perfectly (all parts present) when using HOOPS Exchange 2026.1.
Questions:
Is the SCS conversion code/implementation different between HOOPS Visualize Web and HOOPS Exchange?
Has this missing-part issue been addressed or fixed in any newer version of HOOPS Visualize Web?
The Creo model contains proprietary/internal data, so I prefer not to attach it publicly on the forum. I’m happy to send the files privately via direct message (or email) if it would help with diagnosis.
Thank you in advance for any insights or assistance!
The best way to send us the source file is to create a ticket via the Visualize Web support portal — provided that you have an active license with Tech Soft 3D.
If this does not apply in your situation, you can send me a direct message (just click my avatar and select “Message”) and let me know your email address. I’ll then send you a link to upload the CAD file in question.
Exchange may have different parameters enabled as the default compared to Visualize Web. As such, certain features may be “missing.”
We will very likely need to get the CAD file in question in order to confirm.
As a quick suggestion, you can try toggling the option –import_hidden_objects to true in Converter — which, by default, is set to false.
