May I ask why, when dragging the model file into convert_file.bat using hoops communicator, an error message “Unfortunately, we were unable to convert this model.” appears?

Just a few comments:

  • Are you able to load the file in a native/alternative viewer to confirm the file is valid.
  • It looks like you are using HC 2024.5.0 which is last year’s version. Perhaps you can try a more recent version (such as HC 2025.6.1) in the case that a bug was fixed or Exchange was updated to load newer versions of the CAD format.
  • If you wish, you can zip the .asm and .prt file and send it to me via direct message (just click my user icon and click “Message”). I can then take a closer look.
