Hoops Exchange Demo and hsf Not working well together

I am using the Hoops Exchange Demo (Evaluation Version) and I was trying to open a .hsf file to convert it but the Hoops format is not listed in the supported file formats to open. I can select All Files in the type, and select the .hsf but I get the error Unkown Format and and the window at the top says Tetra4D Reviewer. I can however open the file in the Hoops Demo Viewer which has an export option but if I try to do an export to any format it says that the model can’t be exported into that format.

Ultimately what I am looking to do is open an hsf file and export it to a parasolid or a step file. I also downloaded the HOOPS Parasolid Demo Viewer which will open the file. After it opens the Importing window gets to Stage 2/3 Translation and Tessellation. This step takes quite a long time, but when it is done there is a tree structure but there is no model visible in the viewer.

HSF is the HOOPS Stream File format. It’s essentially the native format of HOOPS Visualize. As such, HOOPS Exchange doesn’t directly read the HSF format.
HSF import in Exchange is available experimentally “From the Vault”. Additional DLLs are available for Windows from the Developer Zone HOOPS Exchange Download page. Scroll down to the From the Vault section. Note:

In an effort to gauge the general interest level in these formats, we are making them available for evaluation for Windows only.
